About removable bollards
BollardUSA’s patent-pending Twist & Lock design has revolutionized the usage of bollards.
Three removable mounting options have made it easier than ever to quickly unfasten and remount bollards.
The process is simple: To install, slide the installation bar through openings in the top of the bollard, lower the bollard into the Twist & Lock track and rotate the bollard clockwise (until it falls into place). Finally, screw from the top to secure it in place.
And they’re theftproof.
BollardsUSA offers two security add-on options: The padlock or surface bolt. The difference is a matter of preference and the types of tools the installers carry with them in the field. The padlock option would require specific keys, whereas the surface bolt option would require a special tool.
All removable mounting options include a plug to cover the hole in the ground upon removal. After removing the bollard, the plug should be dropped into the “Twist & Lock” track and rotated clockwise until it drops into place.
There are two types of plugs offered: stainless steel and customizable cast iron. The stainless steel option is the most basic plug solution. If you are looking for something more customized for your outdoor space, the custom cast iron plug can be designed to implement a custom logo on the top of the plug.
To make your landscape design a unique experience for visitors, the custom cast iron plug can be paired with a custom bollard top. To see which bollards can be customized and learn more about the custom logo process, check out our custom bollards here.
