With revolutionary, patent-pending design, BollardsUSA cast iron removable bollards utilize a smooth and easy-to-use installation process called the "Twist & Lock”. All three of the removable mounting options offered for BollardsUSA bollards begin with the "Twist & Lock” process to install and remove bollards from their positions. To install, slide installation bar through openings in top of bollard, lower bollard into "Twist & Lock” track, rotate bollard clockwise until it drops into place, and use set screws to secure top.

From there, if theft is a preliminary concern, two higher security add-on options are offered: the Padlock option and the Surface Bolt option. Both are great anti-theft options, the difference is a matter of preference and types of tools the installers carry with them in the field. The Padlock option would require specific keys, where the Surface Bolt option would require a special tool.
All three of these removable mounting options includes a plug for placing into the ground once the bollard is removed. After removing the bollard, the plug should be dropped into the "Twist & Lock” track and rotated clockwise until it drops into place. There are two types of plugs offered: Stainless Steel and Customizable Cast Iron. The Stainless Steel option is the most basic plug solution. If you are looking for something more customized for your outdoor space, the Custom Cast Iron plug can be designed to implement a custom logo or emblem into the top of the plug.
To make your landscape design a unique experience to visitors, the custom cast iron plug can be paired with a custom bollard top, which is a BollardsUSA specialty. To see which bollards can be customized and learn more about the custom logo process, check out our Custom Bollards here
